Common Eye Problems

How we have been living with our own lifestyle and all the regular diets throughout these years will be reflected through our eyes. It is simply because there is no skin much thinner than those around our eyes hence it will lose its moisture faster due to less oil glands in that area. Without a doubt, the eyes are more prone to damage and other than that, natural aging and failing to pay enough attention to our skin can cause many unwanted outcomes as well.

Two of the most common problems in the eye area are puffiness and dark under-eye circles. Puffy eyes or the appearance of swelling around our eyes is caused by accumulation of fluid in the soft tissue. Usually they are nothing serious, only some temporary cosmetic worries, unless it persists which can be a risky sign of other severe medical condition. There are multiple causes of puffy eyes, such as sleep deprivation, crying, allergies and so on. Standing up and jumping around can cause the liquid to disperse and is known as one of the temporary solutions for those who have puffy eyes, though it sounded a little awkward.

While for dark circles and eye bags, they are mostly caused from blood vessels or leakage of blood that can be seen through within that skin area. For normal skin area, when blood passes through our veins that is close to the tissue surface, we will see a bluish visible tint. However in a more transparent tissue like those around our eyes, it would appear to be much darker. The solution for dark circles is probably using eye creams that contain vitamin K to strengthen the blood vessels or you can also try looking around and share with others some of the many home made treatments that are still around.

Sometimes, dark circles under the eyes can be due to genetic traits but if you are one of those who often stays up too late and had poor diets, then improving your appearance is all lie in your own hands. Get more sleep and cutting down on salty food, fast food, alcohol and preservatives is what you should do now. No matter which eye cream product you are getting, you should always search and read some eye cream reviews from people who have used it beforehand. Taking good care of your skin and appearance requires an ongoing effort, so discipline and consistency is very important.
